Claim your FREE .africa domain

If you registered a .co.za domain name with us before 21 February 2022, you may qualify for a FREE .africa domain name.

For example, if you have a domain name called DOMAIN.CO.ZA and the equivalent .africa domain name is available, we will register DOMAIN.AFRICA for you at NO additional cost to you.

How to claim your FREE .africa domain name.

• If you have an existing .co.za domain with Afrihost, you will have received an email with a protmotional link. Simply click on the link in the email to claim your free .africa domain.
• Alternatively, any eligible client (with an existing .co.za domain) can claim the promo via the normal Order Form process. Please make sure that you are logged in with the correct Afrihost account on the Order Form when doing the domain lookup so that we can automatically apply the promotion to your order.

Terms and conditions

• If you registered a .co.za domain name on our system before 21 February 2022 and it's .africa equivalent is available for registration, you can claim the domain through our Order Form.
• You must claim your free .africa domain before 17 May 2022.
• Your .africa domain name registration will be for 1 year.  If you decide to keep the domain name after 1 year, you can renew the domain at a low renewal fee of only R99.
